About Us

Revolution DJs & Event Services (formerly Revolution Discos) was formed in 2003 as a part time enterprise providing mobile discos & DJs for a mixture of events.

After leaving university in 2005, proprietor Daniel Essex took the leap to running as a full time business with a team of 4 regular DJs covering excess work, predominantly in the Wedding & corporate markets.

We quickly found our clients were often looking for more than just your basic "mobile disco" and strove to provide a full service helping with many additional aspects of their events.

Our range of services grew to include Mood Lighting, Dance Floor Hire and Room Decor as well as quality PA equipment for vocalists, bands and "DIY Discos".

As well as entertainment based events we also started to provide both high quality equipment and knowledgeable crew to other events such as conferences, product launches and film & TV work.

In 2011, we now hold hire stock of a large range of event equipment, as well as being able to source most things you may require, making us your one-stop shop for whatever event you are planning. We are always investing in new equipment and exploring other services we can offer and enjoy the challenge of new projects we've not tackled before!

We operate from a fully self-contained premises where all equipment is kept well maintained and regularly tested. You are welcome to collect equipment from or visit us to discuss your event - due to the nature of our work, we advise you to make an appointment as we can't always keep regular hours.
